My car's carb just touches the firewall.  I've got a thinner carb-to-manifold spacer that I haven't yet installed that might fix the problem.  But I also am thinking of an adjustable upper engine steady too.

I seem to remember a discussion on them a while back, but I can't find it now.  Anyone have recommendations?

The cheap one from MiniSpares is just that, cheaply made - I bought one for Deighton's car and didn't use it. We bought the one from 7Ent.....more expensive but really well made.

This one.....

This is the MiniSpares one, see for yourself

However, if this one is long enough, it looks better made than the other one they sell

I bought the version from KAD, its expensive but excellent. Probably the nicest option.

Thanks guys.  The Seven and KAD ones are very nice. But nice costs, and they are also a bit pricey.  I think I'll just see how the spacer works out on its own.  But if I find I need a spacer I will get one of the nice ones.
