This is our KC MINI Clubs annual charity event, this year we had about 60 cars show up including a nice group of classics - one of which was Dr.Ken's '62 race Mini, Deightons 71 Cooper S, Don's Vtec Pup and a couple more.
We raised aver $2600 for the local Harvestors and the KC Pet Project, which rehomes rescue dogs in their no kill facility and had a pretty nice day. The Roasterie provides the venue and arranges for the food trucks which were pretty good this year and did a substantial business. They also sell coffee and pastries from their coffee shop and provide restrooms and places to get in out of the weather - tho today was cool and overcast at least it didn't rain.
