remote shift Tranny

I may have a remote shift tranny for sale in the near future. It is from a 1969 (I think.) riley 1300. it has a problem with second gear. I have far too many rod change tranny's sitting around that I should be able to build a good one out of to really try to figure out what is wrong with this one. I also don't have a lot of experience with the trans. so whats it worth to you? open to offers need to pay for the rebuild of "Rusty" and the upkeep of "Missy"
