I don't want to spoil a deal, but will this fit your early car or rather, can it be adapted to fit an early carbed car?

I can't think of any reason it would not work, but if anyone has any info who's done one, please feel free to pipe up. He will need to make a block off plate for the fuel pump opening.....

Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree!  I've got a large tank in mine, can cruise all day long if I'm not too hard on the pedal.  A huge improvement over the small tank, and yours is clean!  Mine was a bit of a mess when I got it, but was happy none-the-less.
