I have a sound coming from the right front wheel area. It will only make the sound when moving forward, and the car can't be on stands. I looked at the boot joint to see if they were rubbing in any way and no, HS joints looked fine, It seems almost like a rub sound, and when I push the car along walking beside it it seems to do it in a rotation of a wheel, push... sound full rotation... sound... I am going to try to figure it out later tonight. Any help would be great. '66 cooper S 10" S wheels, 7.5 brakes, stock set-up.

Looked over the car tonight. I couldn't see anything rubbing, checked over the nuts, all were tight, brakes looked fine, not loose, not too tight, HS joints were tight. I greased everything, but didn't get a chance to check it out after. Short of checking the bearings, I can't think of anything else. Will check it again on Thurs.

Warped rotor?  Would rub only as warped section passes through caliper.
