I'm looking for a used set of cv joints that someone might have kicking around. I want to set up my mini as a rolling chassis without having to take apart my drive shafts.

They would need to work with this disc brake setup:

I may have a set. I think I kept the old set. I'll look tonight.

Sorry Andy I guess I chucked them, I found pretty much everything else for a front end just not CV's.

Mine are for drum brakes, if I still even have them. I also tend to chuck out stuff like this that I don't need anymore.....

Pretty sure I just tossed a pair of old axles out of a drum brake MK2 front end into the scrap pile the other day. They definitely were not pot/CV joint style but the old rubber u-joint style. If I understand what your trying to do I don't think you care about the inbound motor side, you just want the outer axle so you can bolt on the hubs?

Seems like the axle nut is a different size between the drum and disc brakes though, so not sure if they would work for your situation.

Those will work if they are off the later pot joint style set up.

Yes. I'm looking to be able to set up the front hubs without driveshafts without taking mine apart. They could even be a pair that are damaged as far as where the drive shaft bolts on.

Thanks for looking George
