For the moke redo I wanted to change the internals of the speedo so it would work right with the change of diff ratio. So it all can apart for cleaning and changes. I had several to use for spares and parts. Learned that are several differences between early and later ones. Even took the odo all the way apart to clean and reset. Used a drill to test the odo, only took three tries for it to work right. Repainted the inside hoping for more light for the face. The internals got changed from a 14something tpm to a 1280 that will work with the 3.44fd. That unit was a direct swap over after the overhaul. Used a cheap tach from ebay to set the drill speed to 1280 and then put the needle on at 60mph mark. New glass, jewels and chrome bezel and back together. Extra points for whoever notices what little thing I added.
