I just saw this on eBay and I'm sharing in case someone is looking for a 998 engine, claimed to be in good condition.

Would it have killed them to splash a bit of paint on it?

Seems pricey for a 998.  Are prices going up?

Yeah, that's a lot of money for a used 998

Especially pricey since it is missing a number of critical items to meet the "drop in and go" claim: no water pump, no crank pulley, no generator/alternator bracket, no oil filter head, no oil line from block to filter, no oil pressure relief valve, no distributor, no clutch arm, no heater valve.

...and a $300 core charge?  Who pays the freight on the core?
Good luck, seller dude.
