Is that a dent on the wing of the marroonish red mini beside yours?  Did you have to do any additional buffing before you went?

Wonder where he got the bumperettes/nerf bars?

The problem is the front turn signals are mounted in the rubber bumpers, not the fenders - looks like this guy found a way to integrate them. He also rounded off the bottoms of the rear fenders, normally they just drop straight down under the turn signal/tail light assy's.

I'll pass the pics along.....

When you blow the pic up it looks like it's just the reflection of Bruce's right front headlight in the fender.......

No dents in the that car.  Offered for sale for $17k

No additional buffing.  But I did hit it with waterless wash this morning at the hotel because it got dirty driving down. First time I tried that.

Also, I spoke about this forum to couple of Mini people so we may have some new members joining us.  Also, more people are interested in your work Dan.

Just overheard a conversation with two 12-year-old boys discussing this Bentley SUV.  " why would anyone buy this? It looks just like a normal car and it's so expensive "

Randy (Lonestar Mini) made it done to the show.  I've been hanging with him and Tiffiany and her husband Randall (they own the Tahiti Blue 1978 Mini in photos above) who I've known for many years from other car shows.  Like me, Tiffany's first car was a Mini but she was growing up in the UK then so she got to have a lot of fun driving her Mini there.    Actually, her current Mini is not the true Tahiti Blue so she wants to correct that.

Drink lots of water.....

Are you doing any of the runs?

No.  They were on Saturday - just the show today.

But... I was listening to Tiffany telling me about her experiences at the last Classic Minis United run in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She had a  fantastic time and can't wait to go to the next event.

Honestly, as she described the event it sounds like so much more fun than a regular car show or even going to a MiniMeet like we did last year.

I noticed something very interesting as the professional handlers moved around the million dollars of Bentleys and Rolls-Royces at the car show today: They would take every opportunity to move the car in reverse rather than forward.  Even so much as reversing down a whole block to get from the display area to the transport trailer.

I think they were doing whatever they needed to do to avoid putting any unnecessary tenths of miles on the odometers of these brand new vehicles.

If you're talking about the CMU run in Tenn, Don has gone twice and says it's fantastic. I'm planning to go - Kingsport, Tenn in April.

So... catching up.  Question, what was the silver car next to the 1930 MG in the picture?

Like the plywood under the very expensive new cars.

For the money I guess, and the love.

And 2 more reasons the roof decal will not be re-appearing on my mini.

Think that is all.   LOVE all the pics Bruce.
I am the GR8KORNHOLIO! Are you threatening me?
