LOTS and LOTS of Mini footage.    As usual, David vs. Goliath battles.   

I won't tell you what car won, but I think you might be able to guess.

Here's a more modern race, 20 years later than the one above.  It's still in Oz, but not at Bathurst.   Minis battling bigger cars again.
