Rubber door check seal

Hey Dan,  This door check rubber seal  is coming off.  What did you use to stick that on , so I can try another round.

Yeah they usually come with an adhesive back, but those you had didn't.  I dabbed some permatex brand stuff on them.  I'll have to check which exact product but it was for rubber, wood, metal, ect..  I'd think anything that has a high psi rating would suffice. Might even try super glue.

I wondered how those worked, they're loose on this 73 too....

We use 3M 08008 Weather striping adhesive, be sure to use it like contact cement, let each side dry before pressing together.

That's the ticket Nicholasupton!   3M weather stripping adheasive works just great. I've used contact cement in the past.

I picked up some of the 3M weatherstrip today , Nick . Thanks , I will give that a go this weekend .

that 3m is a good glue for one side of cork or other gaskets as well, a guy once showed me to apply a coating to one surface stick it together then pull apart count to 30 and re-stick his method works great.
