In one hand I like the clubby wagon look, in the other the round nose brings more money.  Odds are it stays clubby.  I need variety in my life.

I'm OK with the with the extended/square nose on the wagon - the extra length of the rear keeps the proportions correct, unlike the sedan.

However, I wish it had more of a Mini "face", it looks too much like a 70's Datsun or Toyota from the front to me.

OTOH, at least you can still buy a Clubman for reasonable money.....

I will cry if you touch that front end.

Why? it's only sheet metal....... ::)

I don't remember, did they still make the round nose wagons up till '82 like the Clubby?

I agree the extended rear makes it proportional.  Funny enough I like the datson looking front end.  Front end metal and parts are stupid expensive compared to round nose I've noticed.

Not much call for them, I'd guess......

Round-nose wagons/estates stopped production (UK) in 1969 when the Clubman nose came out.  The Van and pickup (the other LWB Minis) retained the round nose through the end of their production in 1980/81.

The round-nose on the Saloon is the same as on the LWB Minis and was in production the entire life of the Mini.  It is still the more frequently reproduced panel set.  Less demand for the Clubman noses means the higher panel prices.
