Title: Hand brake release button
Post by: Willie_B on September 17, 2020, 11:44:14 AM
Rainy day so I decided to spend some time with the lathe making something. So I have 5 of the white button on the end of the hand brake handle for sale now. Will fit the early cars that have two cables to the handle, 1959-1975. The old one should just unscrew (you know how that goes on our cars).

I was wondering about making one out of wood just to try something different. Have to look to see what I have available to try.

$15 shipped in the USA.

Nice work Brad.
I am sure there are a lot of MK I owners that need these.

That is very cool!  I wonder if One of the Mini parts suppliers would be interested to buy up your production run?

Yes, they are made of Delrin. Easy stuff to work with.

Not in the business of making these. Just a fun yucky day project to help anybody that could use one. There are still some new ones out there but they are more expensive when you can find them.
